Square Enix has just announced today that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released in North America on January 31st on PS3 and Xbox360. The European release date is set for February 2nd.
The game will launch earlier in Japan of course, with a release date set for December 15 and with a special edition PS3 boasting the character Lightning on the console.
Sadly at this time this special edition console is region exclusive and set to be released only in Japan.
Still, no need to fret. With the holiday season rapidly approaching there will be no end of noteworthy titles to keep you occupied until late January.
